Q:What motivated you to pursue a career in human resources, and how has your journey led you to this point of recognition?
A:After my masters in Industrial Psychology & grabbing several internships with renowned organizations, my exposure & interest in the L & D field was elevated. If in short, I need to describe my journey I can name it as 'Trainee to a Trainer'. My career path was brightly lit by my mentors who coached me to identify my passion and inspired me to follow it through. As I progressed professionally, NCDEX granted me numerous opportunities to utilize my skills and hone them further. I believe an environment that promotes learning is not only encouraging but also the one to produce the best future leaders for any organization. The support and conviction of the entire management team at NCDEX in establishing skill development as an important milestone for employees has empowered the organization as a whole. This exercise has enabled to contribute to the overall development of the organization.
Q:In your view, what are the most significant trends and challenges currently facing HR professionals, and how do you think your award-winning approach addresses them?
A:As per my personal opinion, attracting talent, engaging them, hybrid workforce & building the manager-employee relationship are significant trends & challenges faced by the HR professionals. Through continuous efforts for building an engaged workforce, making employees aware of 'What is in it for them' becomes a critical element. NCDEX's empowered learning approach, 70:20:10 learning model and customized training approach helped in addressing the workforce on continuous basis.
Q:In your experience, what qualities and skills are essential for HR professionals to succeed and make a positive impact in today's dynamic workplace environment?
A:In my opinion an HR Professional, the essential skills that one might need in the current scenario are:

- Empathetic attitude to understand the situation from the perspective of all stakeholders,
- Engaging the employees through continuous communication,
- Innovation to keep up with the changing trends for hiring, learning & retaining the employees
- Coaching that can offer guidance, advice and wisdom

Developing these key HR skills is essential for any HR professional who wants to boost their performance, progress in their career, and be an asset to both the leaders and employees in an organization.
Q:How do you think PeopleFirst HR Excellence awards contribute towards felicitating exceptional contributions towards HR fraternity?
A:As rightly said by Brian Tracy “Winners make a habit of manufacturing their own positive expectations in advance of the event”. The PeopleFirst HR Excellence awards contribute towards knowing the best practices in the industry for various categories.
Q:How do you think participation in PeopleFirst HR Excellence Awards, contributes towards your function and your organization at large?
A:HR Excellence award will give an opportunity to show the organization to the esteemed jury & the industry at large. And such recognition provides the impetus to keep striving in the path of continuous excellence.
